iCollections allows you to add web URL links and fragments of text (textclipping) to your Collections. The URL and text clip can be taken from an application in macOS or can be created manually. To see how to add URLs and texts, watch the following demo:
Text clipping file can be also created directly from iCollections. To create the text clipping file, right click on an empty space in the Collection and select "New Text Clipping". To modify the text clipping file right click on its icon and select "Edit":
Text clipping file can be pasted to any frontmost application which accepts texts (eg. TextEdit, Mail, BBedit, etc). To paste the texclipping to the frontmost app, double click (or click if Single Mode is on) the textclipping item. You can also assign a key shortcut to the text clipping item and use the shortcut to paste its content. The previous clipboard content will be unmodified:
You can also drag and drop the text clipping file from a Collection to an e-mail or text editor:
To enable text pasting, you need add iCollections to the Accessibility list:
